Ancient: launch and setup guide

This guide walks through everything needed to get Ancient running: picking and configuring the right overlay for your GPU and game, injecting through the loader, and opening the menu in game. At the end you will find the system requirements, spoofer conditions and a list of error fixes.

One guide covers every cheat from this brand — the steps are identical.

Read this first

  • Disable your antivirus (Windows Defender and others) before running the loader.
  • Medal and Discord overlays do not support fullscreen mode — run the game in Windowed or Borderless mode.
  • Users from Russia: Medal is blocked, so a VPN is required both to download and to run it.
  • With SteelSeries, press the Master - Volume Up bind before injection, otherwise the overlay will not be active.
  • If the CPU has no AES instruction support, the cheat cannot be used — this cannot be fixed.

🛠️ Update from April 22, 2026

Read this before choosing an overlay — the rules changed for three games.

  1. For Apex Legends, ARC Raiders and Delta Force the product now works only with Medal or Discord overlays.
  2. In these games the menu appears approximately 1 minute after injection — the delay was added for security reasons.
  3. In all other games the NVidia App and SteelSeries overlays keep working as before.

Overlay setup

An overlay has to be configured before you launch anything. On NVIDIA graphics cards both NVidia App and SteelSeries are supported. On AMD graphics cards only SteelSeries works.

  1. Pick your overlay: NVIDIA — NVidia App or SteelSeries; AMD — SteelSeries.

NVidia App (does not support fullscreen mode)

  1. Download and install NVidia App: https://www.nvidia.com/en-eu/software/nvidia-app/
  2. Open the app settings.
  3. Open the Generals section.
  4. Turn on IN-GAME OVERLAY.

SteelSeries (supports fullscreen mode)

  1. Download and install SteelSeries GG: https://steelseries.com/gg/download/
  2. Open settings and go to GENERAL → General.
  3. Enable Sonar.
  4. Switch to the SONAR → Shortcuts tab.
  5. Assign the Master - Volume Up bind — for example the F7 key.
  6. Press that bind before injection.

Important: enable the NVidia App overlay before launching. With an AMD GPU use SteelSeries instead.

Only for Apex Legends, ARC Raiders, Delta Force

These three games run only with the Medal or Discord overlay. Neither of them do not support fullscreen mode, so start the game in Windowed or Borderless mode.

  1. Choose Medal or Discord and set it up as described below.
  2. Set the game to Windowed or Borderless mode.

Medal

  1. Download and install Medal: https://medal.tv/download
  2. Create an account and sign in.
  3. Check that the overlay is enabled in Medal settings.

Users from Russia: a VPN is required to download and run Medal.

Discord

  1. Open Discord Settings using the gear icon in the bottom left.
  2. Open Game Overlay and enable the in-game overlay.
  3. Scroll to Appearance → Advanced at the very bottom and disable Legacy Overlay and Hardware Acceleration.
  4. Restart Discord.

If the "Registered Games" section shows "No suitable overlay", turn the overlay off and back on in Discord settings.

Launch

  1. Download the loader: http://undetect.net/download/loader
  2. Disable your antivirus, including Windows Defender and any others.
  3. Run the loader.
  4. Enter your activation key.
  5. Click "Inject".
  6. Wait until the loader closes by itself — that is the signal that you can start the game.
  7. Open the menu with the Insert key. In Apex Legends, ARC Raiders, Delta Force the menu shows up approximately 1 minute after injection.

System requirements

  1. CPU: Intel + AMD (AES instruction support required).
  2. BIOS: SVM / VT-X must be enabled.
  3. OS: Windows 10–11 | 1809–24H2.
  4. RAM: 16 GB.

Spoofer for Delta Force and Arena Breakout

The spoofer works only when all of the conditions below are met.

  1. Reinstall Windows with a new user, deleting all disk partitions.
  2. Reinstall the game.
  3. Use a VPN with a clean IP — not a server IP such as Aeza.
  4. Starting from the very first login to the account, open the game loader with the VPN already on.

FAQ

The menu does not appear after injection in Apex, ARC Raiders or Delta Force
Solution: in these games the menu appears approximately 1 minute after injection, so wait it out. If the Insert key still does nothing after 2–3 minutes, check that Medal or Discord is configured and running, then reinject.
Discord shows "No suitable overlay"
Solution: turn the overlay off and back on in Discord settings → Game Overlay.
Medal will not download or start (Russia)
Solution: the service is blocked in Russia. Enable a VPN and try again.
Error: Please launch SteelSeries moment overlay (FOR GEFORCE) or Please launch SteelSeries Sonar overlay (FOR STEELSERIES)
For the GeForce message: disable and re-enable the GeForce overlay. For the Sonar message: press the SONAR bind before launching so the overlay becomes active.
The menu flickers or the game shows black screens
Solution for SteelSeries: open SteelSeries → Settings → MOMENTS → Capture and Sound and disable "ALLOW MOMENTS TO CAPTURE WHILE GAMING". Solution for Medal/Discord: run the game in Windowed or Borderless mode, since these overlays do not support fullscreen.
Errors on injection: 0x296, memory, dependencies, anti-cheats, HWID, firmware
0x296 — reinject. Failed to allocate memory / to map memory(x) — the driver installed incorrectly: reboot the PC and retry, and if it repeats clean up autostart with https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns. Failed to load dependencies(x)(-x) — disable all protection, remove anti-cheats and antiviruses, then clean autostart. Please uninstall Vanguard/Faceit first — remove that anti-cheat. Unsupported Firmware — convert the disk to GPT and switch BIOS from Legacy to UEFI. Unknown network error — check the connection, and disable VPN if used. Incorrect HWID — run cmd as administrator with wmic diskdrive get Caption, SerialNumber and wmic baseboard get SerialNumber; if both work, reinstall Windows. The loader closing instantly — install https://aka.ms/vs/17/release/vc_redist.x64.exe
Errors about virtualization, RST, RAID or rendering
Please disable Intel Rapid Storage Technology — disable RST, see https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/uninstalling-the-intelr-rapid-storage-technology/e3c4b6d6-56ba-4ac5-be50-89843c9d9b22. Please enable Intel VT-X/AMD-V in the BIOS — enable "Intel Virtualization Technology" / "Intel VT-X" / "AMD-V" / "SVM Mode". VMX/SVM is not supported — in "Control Panel" → "Programs and Features" → "Turn Windows features on or off" make sure "Virtual Machine Platform" and "Hyper-V" are off; then in admin cmd run bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off and reboot; on Windows 11, if that fails, take ownership of and delete hvix64.exe and hvax64.exe from C:\Windows\System32 in admin PowerShell. Either virtual or RAID disk is present — disable the spoofer, or disable RAID in BIOS with a full Windows reinstall. CRD failed / Failed to init render — on desktops the GPU is too old; on laptops disable the integrated GPU in BIOS. The bind button does not work — reinject, then run the overlay as administrator.
