Bleak for RUST: Installation and Launch Guide

This page walks through the full setup for Bleak in RUST: preparing the system, running the Loader, configuring SteelSeries so the overlay works, and injecting before you enter the match. Follow the steps in order and you will finish with the cheat menu ready to open in game.

Read this first

  • Secure Boot and TPM must be disabled in BIOS before you start — otherwise the Loader will not work.
  • Windows Defender and any third-party antivirus should be turned off.
  • The Loader has to be started with Administrator rights, both before the reboot and after it.
  • SteelSeries also has to be started as Administrator after the reboot, otherwise the overlay will not come up on F7.

Preparation

  1. Install SteelSeries GG from https://steelseries.com/gg/download/
  2. Download the Loader from https://undetect.net/loader_bleak
  3. Enter BIOS and turn off Secure Boot and TPM.

Launch

The launch sequence includes a reboot, so expect the machine to restart in the middle of the process.

  1. Start the Loader as Administrator, type in your key and press Inject. The PC will restart.
  2. Once the system is back up, start SteelSeries as Administrator.
  3. Assign the Volume Up function to the F7 key.
  4. Turn off Moments in SteelSeries.
  5. Hit F7 to bring up the overlay.
  6. Launch the Loader as Administrator once more, enter your key and press Inject.
  7. Enter the game.

  1. Use the Insert or Home key to open and close the menu.

Recommendations

  1. Keep Secure Boot switched off in BIOS.
  2. Keep TPM switched off in BIOS.
  3. Switch off Windows Defender and any other antivirus software.

FAQ

Why do I need SteelSeries GG?
Bleak works through the SteelSeries overlay. You install SteelSeries GG from https://steelseries.com/gg/download/, run it as Administrator after the reboot, bind the Volume Up function to F7 and disable Moments. Pressing F7 then activates the overlay, and only after that do you run the Loader for the second injection.
Where do I download the Loader?
The Loader is available at https://undetect.net/loader_bleak. Always start it with Administrator rights, enter your key and press Inject.
Why does my PC reboot after the first Inject?
That is part of the normal sequence. The first run of the Loader ends with a restart. After the system comes back up, continue with SteelSeries and then run the Loader a second time.
Which key opens the menu?
Press Insert or Home to open and close the cheat menu once you are in the game.
Do I really have to disable Secure Boot and TPM?
Yes. Both are turned off in BIOS during preparation, and the recommendations repeat this: Secure Boot disabled, TPM disabled. Antivirus software, including Windows Defender, should be switched off as well.
