Covcheg for Apex Legends: Loader Setup and Launch

This page walks through starting the Covcheg loader for Apex Legends: preparing the USB stick, exiting Steam, completing system preparation with a reboot, and setting up the capture tools. At the end you press F5 in the game menu and the cheat is active.

Read this first

  • Run the loader from a USB stick only.
  • After the loader UI closes, eject the flash drive before starting Apex — otherwise you may run into EAC issues.
  • Exit Steam from the tray before every run.

Before you start

  1. Get the loader after purchase.
  2. Use Discord or Telegram if you need support.

Loading

  1. Download the loader onto the flash drive.
  2. Exit Steam from the tray.
  3. Run the loader from USB.
  4. Wait until loading finishes and the window closes, then remove the flash drive before launching Apex.
  5. Press Start.
  6. Agree to the reboot if system prep is complete.
  7. After the reboot, run the loader again the same way (steps 1–2).
  8. Press Start and wait for the prompts.
  9. Press F5 in the main menu.
  10. Eject USB when the message box tells you to.

AMD/Intel setup

  1. Turn on the Action! FPS counter.
  2. Install OBS from the supplier link.
  3. Set OBS to capture r5apex_dx12.exe.
  4. Use windowed mode.
  5. Configure Rivatuner as shown in the supplier screenshots.
  6. Press F5 in the menu.
  7. Fix the window mode if you are asked to.

System preparation

Virtualization, Hyper-V, GPT, UEFI and Secure Boot are configured the same way as described in the PUBG section.

  1. Open the Configs tab in the loader.
  2. Check that all items there show green checks.

FAQ

Can I run the loader from the hard drive instead of USB?
No. The loader must be started from a USB stick. Download it to the flash drive and launch it from there.
When exactly should I remove the flash drive?
As soon as loading finishes and the loader window closes, remove the flash drive — before you launch Apex. Later in the process, eject USB when the message box says so.
Why do I need to close Steam?
The instruction requires exiting Steam from the tray before runs. Do this every time before starting the loader.
Which key activates the menu in the game?
Press F5 in the main menu. On AMD/Intel setups you also press F5 in the menu after configuring the capture tools, and fix the window mode if you are asked to.
What do I do after the reboot?
The reboot is offered once system prep is complete. After it, repeat the loading steps 1–2, press Start, wait for the prompts, then press F5 in the main menu.
How do I know system preparation is done correctly?
Open the Configs tab in the loader — all items should show green checks. Virtualization, Hyper-V, GPT, UEFI and Secure Boot are set up the same way as in the PUBG section.
