Covcheg EFT: installation and launch guide
This page walks through the full startup routine for Covcheg EFT: which OBS build is required, in what order the loader, the game and OBS must be started, and when to press F5. Follow it top to bottom and you finish with the cheat injected and the game running.
Read this first
- OBS Studio 24.0.3 is mandatory. Uninstall any newer OBS version before starting.
- Do not press F5 in the loader before Escape From Tarkov is running.
- OBS must be started as Administrator, otherwise the capture step will not work as described.
- Press F5 only once, and only while you are in the main menu.
- A spoofer, if used, has to be launched before the loader — not after.

- Get the loader and your key — they are issued after purchase.

Only the 24.0.3 build works. Any newer OBS version installed on the PC has to be removed.
Launch
- Install OBS 24.0.3.
- Run the loader, type in your key, pick EFT and press START.
- Wait for the status "Waiting for game".
- Launch Escape From Tarkov — do not press F5 in the loader before this point.
- Start OBS as Administrator, then click Add → Game Capture and double-click Game Capture.
- Set Mode to Capture a specific window, choose EscapeFromTarkov.exe and confirm with OK.
- Wait until the game picture shows up inside OBS.
- While in the main menu, press F5 once.
If the loader asks you to change the display mode, switch between fullscreen / borderless / windowed in the game settings, apply the change, then press F5 again as the loader instructs.
Spoofer
- If you use a spoofer, run it before the loader.
- Request the spoofer key in Discord.
FAQ
Which OBS version do I need?

When exactly should I press F5?
Only after the game image has appeared in OBS and you are sitting in the main menu. Press F5 once. Pressing it in the loader before Escape From Tarkov is launched is explicitly not allowed.
The loader asks me to change the display mode. What do I do?
Go to the game settings and switch the display mode between fullscreen, borderless and windowed, apply the change, and then press F5 again the way the loader tells you.
How do I set up the capture in OBS?
Start OBS as Administrator, click Add → Game Capture and double-click Game Capture. Set Mode to Capture a specific window, select EscapeFromTarkov.exe and press OK. Then wait for the game picture to appear in OBS.

I use a spoofer — in what order should I launch everything?
The spoofer goes first, before the loader. The key for it is requested in Discord. After the spoofer, continue with the normal launch sequence: loader, then the game, then OBS.
