Covcheg PUBG: setup and launch guide
This page walks through everything needed to get Covcheg running with PUBG: preparing the system in BIOS and Windows, starting the loader from a flash drive, setting up OBS capture and finishing with the F5 press. Follow the sections in order and the loader will finish its work in the game's main menu.
Read this first
- Run the game in DirectX 11 Enhanced (PUBG graphics settings) — this is mandatory.
- Do not press F2 while the game is launching until the loader instructs you to.
- Use only the OBS version from the exact OBS build link in the supplier doc, and start it as administrator.
- All indicators on the Configs tab of the loader must be green before you continue.
Before you start
- Get the loader after purchase.
- Use Discord for technical support.
- Set the game's graphics settings to DirectX 11 Enhanced.
System preparation
Four conditions must be met before the loader will work correctly.
- Enable virtualization in BIOS — see the video https://youtu.be/LQIyowZMiY8 — and confirm it is on in Task Manager.
- Enable Hyper-V. If it is off, run the developer's bat file as administrator and reboot.
- Make sure the system disk uses GPT — check with the guide https://remontka.pro/gpt-or-mbr-disk .
- Boot the system in UEFI mode with Secure Boot disabled; BIOS links for this are in the original Covcheg doc.
Open the Configs tab in the loader: all indicators there should be green.
Loading the software
Copy the folder to a USB flash drive, or to a virtual drive created with something like OsfMount.
- Unpack everything into a single folder, run loader.exe and enter your key.
- Pick the game and press start in the loader.
- Launch the game following the loader's messages, and do not press F2 until the loader tells you to.
- Once you are in the main menu, set up OBS taken from the exact OBS build link given in the supplier doc: run it as administrator and add window capture of TslGame.exe.
- On AMD and Intel systems Action! may be required until the FPS counter appears — as described in the original guide.
- Switch to the loader window and press F5. If you are prompted to change the window mode, change the resolution or mode in the game, apply it, then press F5 again.
