Desync EFT: Setup and Launch Guide

This page walks through everything needed to get Desync running with Escape from Tarkov: preparing the system before the first start, the first-time launch, the regular launch sequence, and what to do if your hardware gets banned. Follow the sections in the order they appear.

Read this first

  • READING THIS INSTRUCTION IS MANDATORY! If you do not follow it, support may be denied.
  • Uninstalling the antivirus, disabling protection and removing anti-cheats is mandatory.
  • Launching the cheat from a USB stick is recommended. As soon as the cheat is launched — before you enter the game — pull the USB stick out.
  • The BAT file covers only part of the preparation; the rest of the guide must still be completed manually.
  • Do not enable "Use previous configuration" if you were banned: it brings back the old hardware data.

Pre-launch Setup: automatic setup via BAT file

A BAT file is included to shorten the preparation. Running it automates part of the configuration and lets you skip steps 4–5 of the "Pre-launch Setup" section.

  1. Download the BAT file.
  2. Put it in a convenient location — not on the desktop.
  3. Run it as Administrator.
  4. Wait until the script finishes, then restart the PC.

The BAT file does not replace the whole guide — the remaining steps still have to be done by hand.

Manual Setup

  1. Download the loader archive. Password: 123
  2. Rename the archive and place it in a convenient location — not on the desktop.
  3. Install the required libraries and frameworks: RuntimePack, DirectX, Microsoft Visual C++.
  4. Uninstall your antivirus, switch off protection and remove anti-cheats — this step is mandatory. Removing or disabling virtual machines and sandboxes is optional. Also turn off virtualization in BIOS and run: bcdedit /set hypervisorlaunchtype off. Then restart the PC.
  5. Optionally adjust BIOS and Windows settings: enable ASLR, disable Secure Boot, enable UEFI if Legacy BIOS is in use.
  6. Move the Start menu to the bottom, as it is by default.
  7. Restart the PC once every step above is done.

First-time launch only

  1. Run the cheat.
  2. Wait for the PC to restart on its own.
  3. Continue from step (2) of the main launch instructions.

Main Launch

  1. Restart the PC.
  2. Check that the loader is fully closed.
  3. Use a spoofer — your own or the built-in one.
  4. Start the cheat loader.
  5. Pick EscapeFromTarkov.
  6. Press "Launch Cheat"; the loader closes by itself.
  7. Open the game launcher and log in.
  8. If a spoofer was used, be ready to enter a verification code.
  9. Enter the game.
  10. Once in the lobby, press F2 to inject.
  11. Press Home or Insert to open the menu.

What to do if you receive a HWID ban

  1. Choose Escape from Tarkov in the loader.
  2. Tick "Enable spoofer" — it stays active until the next reboot.
  3. Tick "Clear traces".
  4. Log in with a new account.
  5. Play.

Extra tips: browse related sites in incognito mode with a VPN instead of your main browser; do not open the game loader before traces are cleared and the spoofer is on; "Use previous configuration" restores the old hardware data, so leave it off after a ban.

FAQ

What is the password for the loader archive?
The archive password is 123. After unpacking, rename the archive and keep it in a convenient folder — just not on the desktop.
Which key injects the cheat?
Press F2 while you are in the lobby to inject. After that, press Home or Insert to open the menu.
Do I have to run the BAT file?
It is optional but convenient: running it as Administrator automates part of the configuration and lets you skip steps 4–5 of the "Pre-launch Setup" section. Everything else in the guide still has to be done manually.
What changes on the very first launch?
The first run is different: you start the cheat, wait for the PC to restart automatically, and then continue from step (2) of the main launch instructions. Later launches follow the full Main Launch sequence.
How do I get back in after a HWID ban?
In the loader select Escape from Tarkov, tick "Enable spoofer" (active until reboot) and "Clear traces", then log into a new account and play. Do not open the game loader before traces are cleared and the spoofer is enabled, and leave "Use previous configuration" off.
Why remove the USB stick before entering the game?
Running the cheat from a USB stick is the recommended way, and the instruction says to remove the stick right after the cheat is launched and before you enter the game.
