What is changing
The Dead by Daylight team says the current Denuvo Anti-Cheat trial is ending. Denuvo will be removed from the game in an update scheduled for 11am ET. The team also says it will review the trial data and player feedback before any potential future tests.
That announcement does not say that every protection system in the game is being disabled. It also does not confirm that any cheat will work immediately once Denuvo is removed. The confirmed change is limited to the end of this Denuvo Anti-Cheat trial.
What this means for cheat users
A game patch can change the client files and the environment a product relies on. Once the update lands, do not launch software until its current status has been confirmed through the product channel, your account area, or support. Denuvo being gone is not a compatibility check.
That applies to both Rage and Arcane, regardless of their feature sets. Product status after the patch is the relevant signal. If no status is posted yet, waiting is the sensible move.
Do not try to force an old build to work through repeated launches, random “fix” files, or a reinstall. None of those actions establishes compatibility, and they can create separate account or PC problems. Before choosing or renewing a product, use the cheat selection checklist to check update practices and support rather than relying on assumptions.
No ban or detection conclusion follows from this post
The announcement gives no ban figures, detection results, or details about changes to other anti-cheat measures. It does not establish that Denuvo detected players during the trial, that risk is now lower, or that another trial will not happen.

Denuvo residual files
The Dead by Daylight team linked its Player Support article for anyone who wants to remove Denuvo residual files from their PC. Follow the official game support instructions if you choose to do that.
Removing residual files is separate from cheat compatibility. It will not update a product or verify its status. For the next session, check the current product notice first and avoid adding preventable mistakes covered in the safe launch checklist. That checklist reduces avoidable errors; it does not make cheat use safe.
