Escape from Tarkov 1.1.5.0: What the Patch Means for Cheat Users

Patch 1.1.5.0 reshapes Lighthouse, progression, and access to Icebreaker. For software users, the immediate step is to check provider support for the updated game client before launching anything.

Escape from Tarkov 1.1.5.0: What the Patch Means for Cheat Users

Lighthouse has changed substantially

Patch 1.1.5.0 is built around a major Lighthouse rework. Rogues have moved from the water treatment plant to the mountain chalets, while stationary weapons and landmines have been removed from the water treatment area. The open stretches around the main road now offer more cover and extra movement options.

The location also receives mountain tunnels that shorten trips to southern extracts, Rogue gear stashes, a new Icebreaker transition near the water cottages, and a BTR patrol. Its route has multiple variants and covers the map, including approaches to the peninsula bridge and the water treatment plant. The Marked Room and Prapor camp location used for main-story tasks have changed as well.

This is not a small visual pass. Familiar routes, danger areas, PvP intersections, and landmarks on Lighthouse need to be reassessed.

The software angle

The announcement does not mention an anticheat update, detections, bans, or a ban wave. Nothing in these notes establishes the detection status of any product.

At the same time, a live-client patch means that old support information should not be treated as current by default. Before opening Sky Cheats for EFT or Desync Eft, look for an explicit provider status covering the current game version. If that confirmation is absent, wait for an update or provider notice rather than testing compatibility on a main account.

Map-focused data may also require review after a location overhaul. Routes, object markers, loot positions, NPC locations, and transitions can be out of date until the software developer revises them. Visual tools such as Chams Eft do not restore the old tactical picture: Rogue positions, cover, and likely approaches have changed.

Practical impact on Lighthouse raids

Do not assume the former water treatment approach still plays the same way. Removing mines and stationary guns changes the local threat pattern, but the BTR is now a variable factor across the map. Its position should not be treated as predictable.

The new mountain passages can reduce travel time to southern extracts, creating different paths for players to meet. More cover and routes along the road also change how squads move through the area. Run the revised paths yourself before relying on any old callouts or map assumptions.

Icebreaker is now reachable from both Shoreline and Lighthouse. It no longer costs roubles, but entry requires a one-use “Sudak-tudak” marine repair kit. The first kit comes from Ragman’s “Pay the Fare!” task; completing it unlocks a special operational task type that can reward additional kits.

What to do now

  1. Update EFT normally, then verify that your specific software is marked as supported for the current client.
  2. Treat old Lighthouse routes and data as outdated until you have checked the new Rogue positions, tunnels, loot changes, and task locations.
  3. If the product has a current status, still follow the pre-launch checklist. It cannot remove sanction risk, but it helps avoid preventable mistakes.
  4. Any third-party software in an online game carries a ban risk. For detection waves, reports, updates, and behavioural risk factors, read Why Cheats Get Detected.

The patch notes contain no anti-cheat statement. They do, however, describe a large enough client and map change that checking each product’s update status is the only sensible starting point.

FAQ

Do the 1.1.5.0 notes announce bans or an anticheat update?
No. The published announcement covers Lighthouse, quests, Icebreaker access, items, and balance changes. It does not state that an anticheat was updated or that bans were issued.
Should I launch my EFT software immediately after the patch?
Only rely on an explicit support status from the provider for the current game client. Without that confirmation, previous compatibility information should not be assumed to apply.
Why do old Lighthouse routes need to be relearned?
Rogues moved to the mountain chalets, the water treatment plant lost its mines and stationary weapons, road cover changed, mountain passages were added, and the BTR now uses variable patrol routes.
