The practical change: barrel hiding
The standout gameplay addition in Hotfix #128-1 is the ability to conceal your character in wooden barrels found in dungeons. A player can use the barrel as cover, then leave by breaking it. That adds another ambush option: an opponent may disappear from normal sight and reappear at close range.
For cheat users, this is a gameplay change, not proof of a software update. The announcement does not explain how the new barrel state is represented on the client. There is no factual basis to claim that ESP will mark a hidden player, that radar will handle the state in a particular way, or that every product will behave alike. Check the current product status before relying on any feature.
Need a clearer picture of what visual features actually do? See the ESP, aimbot, radar, and chams guide. Visual information should not replace basic awareness: barrel hiding can create a close-range trap regardless of the tool being used.
Anti-cheat and compatibility
The published post contains no reference to an anti-cheat update, detections, bans, or a ban wave. IRONMACE also makes no statement about third-party software. That means this hotfix does not support a claim that a ban wave is underway, and it does not support a claim that launching is safe either.
The patch does include fixes for match state, connections, Custom Play UI, skill slots, and minimap updates after entering a dungeon. Those are game-side changes, but the source does not say whether any particular cheat needs an update. Do not treat the absence of anti-cheat news as confirmation that your build is compatible.
Our Dark and Darker options include Arcane, Clutch, and Fecurity. Their feature sets and operating models differ, so status must be checked for the specific product rather than assumed from the game patch alone.
Launch now or wait?
If the provider has not confirmed your product’s status after Hotfix #128-1, wait rather than using a main account as a compatibility test. If its status has been confirmed, that still is not a promise against detection or penalties. Updates, in-game behavior, and player reports can all contribute to risk.
Review the safe launch checklist before starting. It cannot make cheating safe, but it can help avoid preventable mistakes. For the wider picture behind detections and delayed ban waves, read Why cheats get detected.
Other fixes in the hotfix
The update addresses persistent lag after spectating, several Warlock and Bard ability issues, selected Frost Mountain problems, quest issues, and multiple Custom Play bugs. It also fixes cases where the minimap did not refresh immediately and skill slots could appear empty after entering a dungeon.
These fixes may improve normal match flow, but the announcement does not connect them to anti-cheat or cheat compatibility. A bug-fix list alone is not evidence of detection activity.
