The update in brief
DayZ has released Update 1.30 alongside DayZ Badlands. The announced base-game changes include motorbikes on Chernarus, Livonia, and Sakhal, improvements to infected animations, and inventory UI updates.
A Halloween event has also begun for Chernarus, Livonia, and Sakhal. Badlands is discounted by up to 10% until October 29. DayZ and selected bundles are discounted by up to 50% until November 2; Sakhal is included at up to 50% off, while Deluxe Edition is up to 50% off and Cool Edition up to 40% off.
What this means for cheat software
The announcement does not mention a BattlEye update, a ban wave, detection changes, or compatibility for any specific cheat. There is no basis to label software detected, undetected, or ready for Update 1.30 from this post alone.
Still, a live update to the base client changes the decision point for users. Do not assume a build that worked before the patch has the same status now. Check the current status and update information for the exact product you use before launching it with the updated game.
That applies to products such as Soft Hub for DayZ, Authority Dayz Lite, and Phoenix (Wh-Satano) for DayZ. A product page or a feature count does not, by itself, confirm compatibility with 1.30.
Launch now or wait?
If the provider has posted an explicit current status for the game version, use that information. If there is no current confirmation, wait rather than relying on an old build, player comments, or footage recorded before the update.
For a purchase or renewal, check the product status, update practice, support, and subscription terms first. Our cheat selection checklist covers the points worth verifying. Do not treat random file replacements, disabled protection components, or unofficial repacks as a compatibility fix.
No cheat is risk-free, and the lack of anti-cheat details in this announcement does not change that. For context on detections, ban waves, reports, and player behaviour, see Why cheats get detected.
Confirmed versus unknown
Confirmed by the announcement: Update 1.30 is out, Badlands has a launch discount, and the Halloween event has started. Not confirmed: BattlEye changes, ban totals, detection activity, or the post-patch status of any cheat. Until a product has an updated status, that is the key reason to hold off.
