What has been announced
The First Descendant is scheduled to receive patch 1.4.7 on October 29 at 00:00 PDT. The update is planned for Steam, Xbox, and PS5.
The preview points to additions for the in-game offering and events, gameplay and content refinements, plus bug fixes. A full set of patch notes has not been released yet. The developer also says that both timing and scope may change before release.
What this means for cheats
A game client update can leave an existing cheat build out of sync with the game. This announcement does not identify the files, systems, or technical areas affected by patch 1.4.7. It also contains no statement about anti-cheat changes, bans, or a detection wave.
That means there is no basis to label this patch harmless or to claim it will break every product. The sensible approach is simpler: after the game updates, do not run the loader until the provider has posted a status for the current client version. A cheat opening without an error is not proof that it is ready for the new build.
Players using Arcane should check its current status through their account area or support channel before returning after the patch. The same applies to Pussycat. A game patch does not automatically confirm that an earlier cheat release remains compatible.
Run today or wait?
The announcement alone does not report bans, an anti-cheat update, or a product outage before patch day. After 1.4.7 has installed, however, wait for a compatibility confirmation for the specific product you use.
Avoid reinstalling random files or changing settings in an attempt to force an old build to work. That does not replace a provider update and can make troubleshooting harder. Review the safe launch checklist before playing again; it can help prevent basic mistakes, but it cannot make cheat use safe.
Checks to make after the update
- Confirm that your Steam client has finished downloading the game patch.
- Check the published status and latest update information for your cheat.
- Do not launch if support for the current game client has not been confirmed.
- Once support is confirmed, use the normal setup rather than mixing old files or multiple loaders.
Game patches are a routine point where cheat software may need maintenance. Detection risk is not tied to patches alone: detections, player reports, in-game behaviour, and product changes can all matter. For more context, see why cheats get detected.
